Glaucoma is a silent eye disease that usually does not cause any symptoms until later stages, when vision lost is permanent. Glaucoma is the slow lost of nerves that enable vision. It is often related to high eye pressure. Glaucoma causes the slow loss of peripheral vision first, that’s why most patient with undiagnosed glaucoma do not realize they’re going blind. Dilation required.
